Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and qualified English Teacher to join our dynamic school community in Dubai. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality English language and literature instruction, foster a love of reading and writing, and support students’ academic and personal development in a multicultural learning environment.
Key Responsibilities

Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging English lessons aligned with the school curriculum and standards.

Teach English language skills, literature, reading comprehension, writing, speaking, and listening.

Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners, including EAL/ESL students.

Assess, record, and report on students’ progress using formative and summative assessments.

Provide constructive feedback to students to support improvement and achievement.

Maintain a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment.

Integrate technology and innovative teaching strategies into lessons.

Participate in curriculum development, departmental meetings, and school events.

Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress and well-being.

Support students’ social, emotional, and academic growth in line with school policies.

Comply with KHDA regulations, school policies, and safeguarding procedures.
Skills
Qualifications and Experience
-
Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).

Teaching qualification (PGCE, B.Ed., or equivalent).

Minimum of 2 years’ teaching experience (international experience preferred).

Experience teaching a recognized curriculum (British, IB, American, CBSE, or similar).

Strong knowledge of English language and literature.

Experience working with students from diverse cultural backgrounds.
