Secondary Math Teacher

1. Plan, prepare, and deliver effective lessons in Mathematics that align with the school’s curriculum.
2. Design and implement engaging learning activities that encourage analytical thinking and conceptual understanding.
3. Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of learners, including high achievers and those needing additional support.
4. Prepare students for internal assessments and external examinations.
5. Assess, evaluate, and track student progress using formative and summative methods.
6. Provide timely, constructive feedback on students’ assignments and assessments.
7. Utilize technology and modern teaching aids to enhance instructional delivery.
8. Contribute to department planning, curriculum development, and continuous improvement initiatives.
9. Participate in parent-teacher meetings, school events, staff development programs, and extracurricular activities as required.
10. Ensure GEMS policies, procedures, and codes of conduct are followed at all times.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics.

• Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) is mandatory.

• Prior experience teaching Mathematics at the secondary level (minimum 3 years preferred).

• Strong command over mathematical concepts and teaching methodologies.

• Excellent communication, organizational, and classroom management skills.

• Ability to foster a positive and engaging learning environment.

• Proficiency with educational technology tools.
