DESCRIPTION
If you are a supply chain professional with a passion to innovate and contribute in a fast paced growing environment- you might be a good fit to join UFG Supply chain team as packaging and shipping supplies executive. The packaging executive acts as a bridge between operations and upstream suppliers and is responsible for seamless planning and execution of required packaging material and shipping supplies during peak and off peak periods while maximizing customer/vendor experience. This role involves driving decision making with stakeholders and demands strong organizational skills along-with an ability to drive data driven discussions. The candidate is expected to have exceptional analytical, planning and written/verbal communication skills along with preferred experience in packaging supplies
Key job responsibilities
– Setup of robust planning processes to ensure business continuity
– Raising of purchase orders for packaging replenishment orders
– Maintaining inventory records of packaging and shipping supplies on store level
– Establish SOPs and mechanisms for packaging testing and trials
– Lead weekly packaging call with procurement and finance
– Lead packaging charter
– Innovate and explore opportunities in continuous improvement of packaging methods, quality and cost
– Establish strong relationship with external vendors
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
– Bachelors degree
– 1-2 years of working experience
– Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
– Strong Analytical and organizational skills
– UAE national with family book
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
– Packaging related experience
– Experience building processes and project management
– Ability to drive automation
