The MENA Grocery team (UFG) is offering a role to own building new business from ground Zero. We are seeking a self-starter who can quickly familiarize themselves with this fast-paced environment, build relationships/trust with cross-functional teams, and assume ownership within the program which will require understanding of complex business/Tech/Ops processes at Amazon and our partners and devising an optimal engagement model. You must be able to thrive and succeed in an entrepreneurial environment, and not be hindered by ambiguity or competing priorities. High judgment, analytical talent and good document writing skills with concise communication are essential to success in this role.

In this role, You will influence internal and external stakeholders and leadership to buy in to your strategic direction in forging new business partnerships, drive program end to end to onboard partners while ensuring flawless execution and continuously analyzing key metrics to drive improvements for your business.

This position involves regular communication with senior leadership on Business and customer offering reviews, Operations excellence improvement areas, project execution and risks. You should be comfortable working both at a strategic level and diving deep into the details to ensure solution feasibility and quality of execution.

Key job responsibilities
 Support Category leader to drive new strategic initiatives and business opportunities for the organization
 Work with Retail PF/Category Leaders to identify optimum selection mix to drive top-line & bottom-line on Grocery / Non-Grocery portfolio
 Identify automation opportunities to offer scalable solutions, improve all key inputs metrics such as Selection, profitability, Pricing, Availability
 Post launches, Own the P&L for hitting top and bottom-line targets and drive projects to improve profitability with critical stakeholders (Vendor, Ops, Advertising)
 Define selection assortment, continuously refine the mix to improve space utilization
 Engage with Retail team to source deals during Tier 1 & Tier 2 events to ensure we continue to offer value to our Prime Customers
 Collaborate with retail category teams to ensure content quality is best in class to improve conversion
 Negotiate category marketing funds from vendors (via retail category team) for category visibility during BAU/Events.
 Partner with Retail Category team to ensure UFG ask is part of Annual Retail JBP for common vendors
 Collaborate with Ads team to ensure UFG gets a fair share of Brand Ads investment

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

– 4+ years of program or project management experience
– 4+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
– 4+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
– Bachelor’s degree
– Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
– Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

– 5+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
– 5+ years of driving process improvements experience
– Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
– Experience building processes, project management, and schedules
– Master’s degree
