Job Description
- Plan and deliver age-appropriate PE lessons aligned with school curriculum and national standards.
- Teach fundamental motor skills, fitness concepts, and basic sport-specific skills.
- Introduce students to a variety of physical activities, games, and sports to encourage lifelong fitness.
- Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs, abilities, and interests.
- Maintain a safe and positive learning environment during all physical activities.
- Use positive behavior management strategies to encourage participation and teamwork.
- Assess students’ physical skills, participation, and progress using clear criteria.
- Record assessment data and provide feedback to students and parents.
- Organize and support school-wide physical activities (sports days, fitness challenges, etc.).
- Work collaboratively with classroom teachers, support staff, and school leadership.
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school events.
- Maintain and care for PE equipment and report maintenance needs.
- Uphold school policies and safeguard student well-being.
Skills
Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education.

Teaching qualification will be an added advantage

Knowledge of child development and physical education pedagogy.

Strong communication, organization, and classroom management skills.

Commitment to student safety, inclusiveness, and holistic development.
Preferred
-
Experience teaching primary/elementary-aged children.

First aid/CPR certification.
