Job Description
- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons and activities across all areas of early childhood development.
- Create a warm, supportive, and stimulating classroom atmosphere that encourages exploration, independence, and a love for learning.
- Observe, assess, and record children’s progress, ensuring that developmental milestones are met.
- Tailor teaching approaches to meet the individual needs of all children, including those with additional learning needs.
- Promote personal, social, and emotional development alongside early literacy, numeracy, and motor skills.
- Encourage creativity through music, art, storytelling, imaginative play, and hands-on activities.
- Manage classroom behavior positively and effectively, establishing routines and boundaries appropriate for young children.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized learning environment, both indoors and outdoors.
- Collaborate with teaching assistants, specialists, and other staff to support the holistic development of each child.
- Participate in school events, parent meetings, training sessions, and ongoing professional development.
- Ensure GEMS policies, procedures, and codes of conduct are followed at all times.
Skills
Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in ICT/Computer Science.

A recognized teaching qualification – B.Ed.

Experience working with young children in a preschool, or foundation stage setting.

Strong knowledge of early years frameworks.

Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Should be an Arabic speaker.

A warm, patient, and caring personality with a genuine passion for early childhood education.
