ICT Teacher – Foundation Stage (Arabic speaker)

1. Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons and activities across all areas of early childhood development.
2. Create a warm, supportive, and stimulating classroom atmosphere that encourages exploration, independence, and a love for learning.
3. Observe, assess, and record children’s progress, ensuring that developmental milestones are met.
4. Tailor teaching approaches to meet the individual needs of all children, including those with additional learning needs.
5. Promote personal, social, and emotional development alongside early literacy, numeracy, and motor skills.
6. Encourage creativity through music, art, storytelling, imaginative play, and hands-on activities.
7. Manage classroom behavior positively and effectively, establishing routines and boundaries appropriate for young children.
8. Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized learning environment, both indoors and outdoors.
9. Collaborate with teaching assistants, specialists, and other staff to support the holistic development of each child.
10. Participate in school events, parent meetings, training sessions, and ongoing professional development.
11. Ensure GEMS policies, procedures, and codes of conduct are followed at all times.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in ICT/Computer Science.

• A recognized teaching qualification – B.Ed.

• Experience working with young children in a preschool, or foundation stage setting.

• Strong knowledge of early years frameworks.

• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

• Should be an Arabic speaker.

• A warm, patient, and caring personality with a genuine passion for early childhood education.
