Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Secondary School Business Teacher to join our team from an immediate start.
This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about Business education and committed to supporting students to achieve success, particularly at GCSE level.
Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging and well-structured Business lessons in line with the school’s curriculum and academic standards.

Teach and prepare students for GCSE Business examinations.

Use a variety of teaching strategies to inspire students and promote critical thinking.

Collaborate with colleagues to create a supportive and positive learning environment.

Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of all learners.

Establish an inclusive classroom culture that fosters curiosity, respect and a love of learning.

Communicate effectively with parents about student progress and take part in parent-teacher consultations.
Skills
Candidate Requirements

A degree in Business or a related field, with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE).

Proven experience teaching Business at secondary level, including GCSE.

Strong understanding of effective classroom practice and approaches to assessment.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues and parents.

A commitment to professional development and delivering high-quality teaching and learning.
