Job Description

Purpose

The VP Strategic Marketing Initiatives, Transformation & Channels leads the design and delivery of high-impact marketing transformation projects that enable GEMS Education to remain future-ready and customer-focused.

This role drives innovation in marketing channels, digital enablement, and strategic partnerships, ensuring projects are executed with rigour, efficiency, and measurable impact. Acting as a bridge between strategy and execution, the role plays a pivotal part in shaping the long-term marketing transformation agenda.

Key Accountabilities

  • Lead and oversee strategic transformation projects across marketing, admissions, and digital functions.
  • Deliver new marketing channels and partnerships, piloting innovative models and scaling successful initiatives.
  • Drive governance, reporting, and tracking of all strategic initiatives to ensure timely delivery and measurable outcomes.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to define and execute the long-term marketing transformation roadmap.
  • Introduce and implement digital enablement tools and systems to enhance marketing effectiveness.
  • Build frameworks and playbooks for repeatable success in channel innovation.
  • Partner with external consultants, agencies, and technology providers to drive innovation.
  • Ensure alignment of all transformation projects with overall business goals and enrolment KPIs.
  • Act as a change champion, promoting an agile, data-driven, and innovative culture within the marketing function.

Skills

Expected Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related discipline.
  • 8–12 years’ experience in marketing strategy, transformation, or consulting roles.
  • Strong background in channel development, digital enablement, and strategic projects.
  • Experience managing large-scale initiatives in complex, matrix organisations.
