Overview

Established in the region for 40 years, PwC has around 12,000 people in 12 countries across the region: Bahrain, Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Oman, the Palestinian territories, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.

Our regional team operates across the Middle East bringing international experience delivered within the context of the region and its culture. We can bring the collective knowledge and experience of more than 370,000 people across the entire global PwC network in advisory, assurance and tax to help you find the value you are looking for.

At PwC, our people in tax services focus on providing advice and guidance to clients on tax planning, compliance, and strategy. These individuals help businesses navigate complex tax regulations and optimise their tax positions.

In indirect tax at PwC, you will focus value-added tax (VAT), goods and services tax (GST), sales tax and other indirect taxes. Your work will involve providing advice and guidance to clients on indirect tax planning, compliance, and strategy, helping businesses navigate complex indirect tax regulations and optimise their indirect tax positions.

The UAE has launched its national eInvoicing mandate based on the Peppol 5-corner model, which will progressively require businesses to issue and receive electronic invoices through Accredited Service Providers (ASPs). This reform is reshaping how companies manage their tax compliance, IT infrastructure, and finance operations.

PwC Middle East supports both private and public sector clients in preparing for these changes, ensuring regulatory compliance, and unlocking opportunities through digital tax transformation.

While this role will primarily focus on eInvoicing, it may also expand in the future to cover other areas such as tax engine implementation, support for additional tax obligations in the UAE, and broader projects at the intersection of tax and technology.
