Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic, passionate, and dedicated Swimming Coach to join our team.
The Swimming Coach will play a key role in promoting a positive and inclusive environment that encourages students to develop their swimming abilities while instilling a love for the sport.
Key Responsibilities:
– Develop and implement a structured swimming curriculum that aligns with the school’s educational objectives.
– Conduct swimming lessons for students of different age groups and skill levels.
– Evaluate and monitor students’ progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
– Organize and oversee swimming competitions, events, and inter-school meets.
– Ensure the safety and well-being of students during swimming sessions.
– Collaborate with other physical education teachers and school staff to integrate swimming activities into the overall curriculum.
– Stay updated on the latest coaching techniques, safety standards, and best practices in swimming instruction.
– Foster a positive and inclusive team spirit among students participating in swimming programs.
Skills
Qualifications:
– Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Swimming Coach.
– Recognized coaching certification (Swim England, or equivalent).
– Lifeguard certification and first aid training.
– Strong knowledge of various swimming strokes, techniques, and training methods.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
– Passion for working with students and promoting a healthy lifestyle.
– Ability to create a positive and motivating learning environment.
