As part of our commitment to high-impact learning and innovation, GEMS SRI is seeking a tech-savvy and resourceful AV & Media Technician to support the music, media, and administrative teams with audio-visual operations and digital content needs.
Skills
Salient Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate AV systems for assemblies, performances, presentations, and school events.
- Support music and media teachers in recording, editing, and streaming content.
- Maintain and troubleshoot classroom AV and IT equipment, including microphones, speakers, projectors, and media players.
- Manage audio systems during rehearsals and concerts.
- Support administrative teams with content management and equipment booking processes.
- Maintain an up-to-date inventory of AV equipment and ensure secure storage.
- Assist with editing and archiving school media content when needed.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy, copyright, and school policies.
Qualifications:
- Qualification in media, AV technology, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of AV or technical support experience.
- Proficiency in sound and video equipment, editing software, and media production tools.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with students and staff.
- Strong communication, reliability, and attention to detail.
