Our vision with Gamified Experiences is to craft immersive, entertaining & rewarding experiences to drive sustained repeat engagement across Amazon’s Emerging Markets and accelerate customers’ lifecycle. The GameX program is part of the IES shopping org contributing to the lifecycle progression charter – the larger vision of the org is to drive efficient, step-function acceleration in customer engagement across Amazon Markets by acquiring customers and influencing them to progressively trust us more with their purchases
As a Sr. Product Marketing Manager, Emerging Markets, you will be responsible for leading Product Marketing initiatives for Gamified Experiences, and overseeing its expansion across Amazon’s emerging markets including India, MENA (UAE, KSA, Egypt), Mexico, Brazil, Australia and Singapore. You will work in close partnership with Product, Tech, and regional marketing teams to build, test, and scale breakthrough gamification initiatives that redefine how customers interact with our platforms.
This role is designed for a strategic, data-driven leader who can translate creative ideas into measurable business outcomes while mentoring cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have a passion for understanding customers, be data driven, adept at relationship building and not be afraid to experiment, learn and iterate their approaches.
Key job responsibilities
• Own the end-to-end product marketing strategy for Gamified Experiences (GameX) across all Emerging Markets (EMs), including but not limited to India, MENA, MX, BR, Australia and Singapore aligning with the broader lifecycle progression strategy
• Lead the expansion of engagement products across emerging marketplaces. This involves working closely with local marketplace teams to tailor marketing strategies and campaigns to suit local market needs and customer preferences.
• Serve as the central SME for Gamification in emerging markets, advising regional marketing teams & categories to leverage Gamified experiences to drive business goals. Lead, mentor, and inspire cross-functional teams, ensuring effective execution and alignment with broader lifecycle and customer engagement goals
• Work closely with Product and Tech teams to build and test new product offerings. Contribute in shaping the CX & GTM strategy for new product launches and drive adoption with key stakeholders across Emerging Markets.
• Own developing & scaling monetization offering leveraging Gamification. Partner with central Category & Advertising teams to drive co-op & ad revenues for the platform
• Communicate results, strategy updates, and future roadmaps to senior leadership and key stakeholders across Amazon’s global markets.
• Customer Engagement and Lifecycle Progression: Drive customer settlement in EMs by creating and scaling gamified experiences that encourage repeat visits and increased purchasing frequency.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
– 6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
– Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs
– Demonstrated expertise in designing and executing campaigns that leverage gamification or innovative digital engagement strategies
– Strong analytical skills with advanced proficiency in data analysis and A/B testing methodologies, and the ability to derive actionable insights from complex datasets.
– Excellent project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple initiatives across geographies while balancing quality and speed.
– Excellent communications skills to drive recommendations, articulate tradeoffs, and communicate plans to senior executives and partner teams
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
– Experience using any of SQL or other analytical tools for conducting data analysis
– Gamification Expertise: Deep understanding of gamification principles and proven track record of driving gamification initiatives that have significantly improved customer engagement metrics and business goals
– Emerging Markets Experience: Experience in developing and executing marketing strategies in emerging markets, with an understanding of regional customer behaviors and cultural nuances.
– A/B Testing & Experimentation: Experience running A/B tests and experiments, extracting learnings, and scaling impact
– Lifecycle Management: Knowledge of customer lifecycle management and strategies for customer acquisition, retention, and engagement
– Experience with internal tools such as Content Symphony, Bullseye, Arborist, String Translator, Engagement Central, etc.
– Experience driving direction and alignment with large cross-functional teams across multiple locales in a central role
