Job Description
The Inclusion Coordinator will be responsible for spearheading the implementation of our inclusion policy on a day-to-day basis, ensuring that all students have equitable access to education and support services. Key responsibilities include coordinating specific provisions for students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) or Disabilities (SOD) across wave 3, drafting and reviewing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), and providing push-in and pull-out support to assigned students as needed. The SENCO will play a pivotal role in ensuring that all students, regardless of their abilities or challenges, have access to high-quality education and support tailored to their individual needs.
Skills
Expected Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education, Psychology, or a related field.
- Certification in special education or relevant professional qualification is preferred.
Expected Experience:
- Experience working with students with diverse learning needs, including SEN.
Job-Specific Knowledge & Skills:
- Strong understanding of special education principles, policies, and best practices.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
Proficiency in maintaining accurate documentation and evidence for progress monitoring.
