Job Description
– Collaborate with classroom teachers to design and implement inclusive strategies that meet the diverse learning needs of students with SEN.
– Provide differentiated instruction and support to individuals or small groups of students, fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
– Conduct assessments to identify students with SEN and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with the SEN team and parents.
– Work closely with parents, teachers, and external specialists to create a collaborative support network for students with SEN.
– Implement evidence-based interventions and accommodations to address diverse learning needs.
– Stay updated on best practices, research, and advancements in the field of special education and inclusion.
– Foster a positive and inclusive classroom culture that celebrates diversity and promotes a sense of belonging for all students.
Skills
– B.Ed. /M.Ed. in Special Education
– Minimum Two Years Experience as SEN Teacher/Coordinator
– The ability to share your outstanding practice
– A creative and enthusiastic approach both in and out of the classroom
– Excellent IT and interpersonal communication skills to work closely with students and parents
– A proven track record of providing outstanding teaching and learning
– An aspiration to work in a world-class school with real prospects for enhancing their career
