DESCRIPTION
As a Shift Manager Delivery Operations, you’ll have responsibility for the day to day management of a Delivery Station, providing leadership to Operations Supervisors, Operations Assistants and Delivery Service Providers, managing external agency relationships and performance. This team will work in a highly collaborative environment that’s more start-up than big company.

Key job responsibilities
The Shift Manager, Delivery Operations is responsible for managing daily delivery operations during their assigned shift. This includes overseeing the efficient dispatch and routing of delivery drivers, monitoring delivery performance metrics, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The Shift Manager serves as the primary point of contact for drivers and coordinates with other operational teams to resolve any issues that arise during the shift.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage the daily dispatch and routing of delivery drivers to ensure on-time performance and customer satisfaction
* Monitor delivery operations metrics such as on-time delivery rates, driver productivity, and customer feedback
* Communicate with drivers throughout the shift to address any problems or questions that arise
* Coordinate with other operational teams (e.g. warehouse, customer service) to resolve delivery-related issues
* Provide leadership and direction to delivery drivers during the shift
* Identify opportunities for process improvements and make recommendations to management
* Assist with the training and development of delivery drivers
* Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
– 1+ years of employee and performance management experience
– Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience
– Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
– Can push and pull wheeled dollies loaded with products up to 100 pounds during shifts
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
– 1+ years of performance metrics, process improvement or lean techniques experience
