In this role, you will exhibit a strong ownership mindset, taking the lead in scoping and creating project plans, developing and standardizing processes, coordinating execution, and communicating effectively with a wide array of stakeholders and teams.
At Amazon, we are committed to being the world’s most customer-centric company. We are seeking a Senior Program Manager to drive PXT strategic and tactical cross-functional initiatives, launch playbook initiatives, PXT metrics, Rhythm of Business and change management for the AMET PXT team.
Key job responsibilities
– Manage complex, cross-functional programs and projects, delivering ambitious goals and driving successful outcomes across multiple organizations
– Juggle multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously, demonstrating exceptional organizational skills and a keen ability to context-switch
– Develop a deep understanding of Amazon’s products, businesses, and competitive landscape, staying ahead of industry trends and leveraging data-driven insights
– Orchestrate cross-team coordination, project/process management, and executive-level communication
– Collaborate with internal teams, customers, and partners to craft and implement scalable, innovative solutions
– Partner with PXT and other program managers to secure resources, scope efforts, set priorities and milestones, and drive delivery
– Own program communication, accelerating progress through crisp and timely decision-making, clearing blockers, and escalating issues as appropriate
– Influence internal and external stakeholders without formal authority, driving the adoption of new processes and initiatives
– Drive operational goals and metrics, supporting the vision of both the team and the larger organization
– Present project status and metrics for PXT & Operations Leadership in AMET , providing data-driven insights and recommendations
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
– Bachelors Degree or equivalent degree in Human Resources or Business Management
– Lean Six Sigma certified
– 8+ years cross-functional and international project management experience, handling complex change initiatives
– Program Management or Project management related qualifications, awareness of tools for managing Programs and Projects effectively
– Strong verbal and writing skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
– Masters Degree
– In addition, generalist HR exposure in a fast paced, operational environment is desired
– Comfort with data and analytical tools
