Overview of the role:
We are looking for a motivated and experienced Sales Consultant to join our Volvo Construction Equipment team. This role focuses on promoting and selling Volvo construction machinery, developing strong client relationships, and driving revenue growth across designated territories. The ideal candidate will be highly driven, technically knowledgeable, and customer-focused, with a strong background in sales within the UAE market.

What you will do:

  • Drive sales of Volvo construction equipment within the assigned territory.
  • Seek out new business opportunities and proactively build a robust sales pipeline.
  • Prepare accurate, timely quotations and manage the full sales cycle, including negotiation and delivery coordination.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key customers.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to provide strategic input.
  • Ensure compliance with internal sales processes, credit control, and reporting systems.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a high standard of customer satisfaction and timely delivery.

Required skills to be successful:

  • Strong technical and commercial understanding of construction equipment.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities in a competitive market.
  • Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
  • Customer-centric approach with strong relationship-building skills.
  • Proficiency in preparing quotations and handling credit-related discussions.

About the team:

You will be part of a passionate and goal-driven sales team focused on delivering growth for the Volvo Construction Equipment brand. The team is collaborative, experienced, and closely aligned with the aftersales and technical support functions to ensure a seamless customer experience from lead to delivery.

What equips you for the role:

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in sales of construction equipment, preferably within the UAE.
  • Experience working with distributors or dealerships is a strong advantage.
  • Knowledge of Volvo construction products is highly desirable.
  • Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus.
  • UAE driving license is essential.
