Our Deals practice helps clients navigate complex transactions and unlock value through mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and strategic investments. We bring deep industry knowledge and technical expertise to support clients across the deal lifecycle—from strategy through execution.
The Real Estate, Hospitality and Leisure team within Deals provides strategic advisory services to developers, private equity funds, REITs, government institutions, and other industry stakeholders across the MENA region. Our services include market assessments, feasibility studies, business planning, portfolio restructuring, financial modeling, and commercial due diligence.
As a Senior Associate – Real Estate Strategy, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Developing financial models for mixed-use real estate developments across asset classes and financing structures
- Conducting development appraisals and financial analysis to support client strategies
- Designing and implementing corporate strategies, business plans, and investment roadmaps
- Engaging with external investors and conducting market studies and area program assessments
- Leveraging data insights to develop client solutions and recommendations
- Supporting the development of written reports with analysis, findings, and recommendations
- Delivering complex projects while building trusted advisor capabilities
- Contributing to knowledge sharing, training, and team development initiatives
- Building collaborative relationships and fostering a productive team environment
- Managing multiple project deliverables and ensuring successful outcomes
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in strategy or consulting, ideally within real estate, hospitality, leisure, private equity, or investment environments
- Bachelor’s degree from a top-tier university; Master’s degree or RICS-accredited qualification is a plus
- RICS designation preferred but not essential
- Strong technical skills in financial modeling, report writing, and presentation
- Experience in feasibility studies and mixed-use development projects
- Exceptional analytical and commercial problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize high-quality deliverables
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills
- Fluent in Arabic and English
- Your flexibility to travel 75% of the time. This means we may require you to work away from your base office location on a regular basis and frequent overnight stays may be required.
