Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Accountant with a strong finance background to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring compliance with UAE accounting standards, supporting financial planning, and contributing to strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and accounts.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Manage accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger entries.
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
Monitor cash flow, working capital, and financial performance indicators.
Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations and other statutory requirements.
Support external and internal audits by preparing required documentation.
Develop and implement financial controls and policies to safeguard company assets.
Provide financial analysis and reports to management for decision-making.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial data and reporting.
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent certification preferred).
3–5 years of experience in accounting and finance, preferably in the UAE or GCC region.
Strong knowledge of IFRS, UAE VAT, and local compliance regulations.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally, SAP, Oracle).
Advanced MS Excel and financial modeling skills.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Excellent communication skills (English required).
Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines.
