PE Teacher (Football Specialism) – August 2026

Due to the continued success of GEMS FirstPoint School, we are seeking to appoint an outstanding Secondary PE Teacher (Football Specialism) for August 2026. Successful candidates will:

• Embody and role model our core values of Resilience, Empathy, Adaptability, Dynamism, and Individuality
• Hold a BEd or Bachelor’s degree with a PGCE/PGDE or equivalent in PE or a related subject
• Have proven experience teaching PE at Secondary level
• Demonstrate a strong specialism in football, with experience coaching and leading school teams
• Be able to deliver high-quality, engaging lessons across KS3–KS5
• Share exemplary teaching and coaching practices
• Have a creative and enthusiastic approach both inside and outside the classroom
• Possess excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively with colleagues, students, and parents
• Have a proven track record of delivering outstanding teaching and learning
• Be willing to contribute fully to the school’s extra-curricular and competitive sports programme
