Job Title: UK Trained Music Teacher (Immediate Start – March/April 2025)

Location: GEMS School, 

Start Date: March/April 2025

Position: Full-time, Permanent

Job Description: We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Music Teacher to teach across both Primary and Secondary levels. The successful candidate will be the sole Music teacher and will be responsible for delivering engaging and dynamic music lessons to students and fostering a love for music in all ages.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver high-quality music lessons across both Primary and Secondary levels.
• Provide an engaging learning environment that encourages student participation and creativity.
• Monitor and assess student progress, offering guidance and support to ensure each student reaches their full potential.
• Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the broader school curriculum.
• Organize and support school music events and performances.
• Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and staff.

Requirements:

• A UK-recognized teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS).
• Proven experience teaching Music in a school setting, ideally across both Primary and Secondary levels.
• Strong knowledge of the UK National Curriculum for Music.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Passion for music and the ability to inspire students.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
