Job Description
We are looking to appoint a passionate, creative, and dedicated Music Teacher to join our team in August 2026.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging music lessons in accordance with the school curriculum.
- Teach vocal and instrumental music to students across designated grade levels.
- Develop students’ musical skills, creativity, and appreciation for different musical genres and cultures.
- Prepare students for school performances, concerts, assemblies, competitions, and special events.
- Assess, monitor, and report on student progress and achievement.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages participation and self-expression.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Music, Music Education, Performing Arts
- Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a school setting.
- Experience teaching vocal and/or instrumental music.
- Proficiency in playing one or more musical instruments.
Skills
- Strong classroom management and student engagement skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Passion for music education and student development.
- Ability to organize performances and extracurricular music activities.
- Creativity, enthusiasm, and a collaborative approach to teaching.
