Job Description

We are looking to appoint a passionate, creative, and dedicated Music Teacher to join our team in August 2026.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging music lessons in accordance with the school curriculum.
  • Teach vocal and instrumental music to students across designated grade levels.
  • Develop students’ musical skills, creativity, and appreciation for different musical genres and cultures.
  • Prepare students for school performances, concerts, assemblies, competitions, and special events.
  • Assess, monitor, and report on student progress and achievement.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages participation and self-expression.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Music, Music Education, Performing Arts
  • Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a school setting.
  • Experience teaching vocal and/or instrumental music.
  • Proficiency in playing one or more musical instruments.

Skills

  • Strong classroom management and student engagement skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Passion for music education and student development.
  • Ability to organize performances and extracurricular music activities.
  • Creativity, enthusiasm, and a collaborative approach to teaching.
