Job Description

We are seeking to appoint an  Teacher of Mathematics to join our team in August 2026.

Skills

  • Deliver engaging and high-quality Mathematics lessons aligned with the British curriculum.
  • Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and adapt teaching to meet the needs of diverse learners.
  • Plan, prepare, and assess effectively, maintaining accurate records of student progress.
  • Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes innovation, curiosity, and a love of learning.
  • Use technology effectively to enhance teaching and learning.
  • Contribute to co-curricular and extra-curricular programmes, supporting whole-school initiatives and events.
  • Uphold GEMS policies, procedures, and core values at all times.
  • Communicate regularly with parents, colleagues, and external stakeholders to support student development.
  • Engage in continuous professional development and performance management.

Skills

Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics or equivalent.
  • Teaching qualification mandatory
  • Strong classroom practice with proven ability to inspire and motivate students.
  • Commitment to inclusive education and personalised learning.
  • Willingness to contribute to wider school life and professional learning culture.
