Description

We are looking for a dynamic, organized, and results-driven Marketing & Communications Manager to join the DSP team. This role combines marketing and communications disciplines to drive awareness of the DSP program in the Middle East and Africa regions, generate and convert leads into candidate applications, and build best-in-class communications and content that result in high levels of trust and engagement with new and existing Delivery Service Partners.
You will manage difficult marketing and communications initiatives, defining execution elements such as targeting, channel mix, creative and messaging, and A/B testing — while learning to think strategically and surfacing insights that may influence broader team strategy. You will deliver independently, seek direction when needed, and influence across teams to drive results.
This role is ideal for someone who can move between strategy and execution on a daily basis, thrives in ambiguity, and has a strong balance of creative and analytical skills.

Key job responsibilities
Marketing & Acquisition
• Conduct market research of to identify insights and targeting strategies that inform campaign planning
• Support the development of positioning for the DSP program in partnership with brand owners and local business teams
• Execute marketing campaigns across paid media, SEO, and content marketing channels to drive brand awareness, lead generation, and applications
• Manage regional campaign budgets with accountability on spend and efficiency targets
• Coordinate with agency partners on paid media execution and localization efforts
• Define and optimize targeting/segmentation, channel mix, creative messaging, and A/B testing to improve campaign performance
• Automate and improve triggered communications throughout the candidate journey
• Report on key metrics and progress to goal, contributing to cadenced reporting (MBR, QBR)
Communications & Content
• Create high-quality, engaging communications that support DSPs through their lifecycle
• Measure the effectiveness of communications and use data to drive improvements
• Identify emerging topics and develop proactive communication plans with stakeholders, ensuring effective and tailored messaging
• Propose, execute, and scale new ways of creating and distributing communications that expand program awareness and adoption
• Manage multiple communication channels including newsletters, change communication, internal forums, and events
• Create compelling stories to spotlight DSPs and Drivers to increase program affinity and business goals
• Ensure consistency of brand and editorial voice across all channels and marketing vehicles

About the team
The Emerging & Expansion Marcom team solicits and nurtures small-business entrepreneurs for the Amazon Delivery Service Partner program which makes deliveries to customers worldwide.

Basic Qualifications

– 4+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
– Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
– Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
– Experience using Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyze data
– Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional programs or marketing campaigns from concept to completion
– Experience producing marketing promotional material for Owned & Operated channels
– Experience in brand identity and voice development
– Experience in English-language communication skills, both written and verbal
– Fluency in an additional language (Arabic, Turkish, or another GCC language preferred)

Preferred Qualifications

– Experience using customer research, hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, generate forecasts, and assess the efficacy of marketing programs
– Experience utilizing systems and tools involving email, web, analytics, and CRM (Marketo, Tableau, Salesforce, etc.) for targeting, segmentation, reporting for demand generation
– Experience working on or with large-scale, global creative campaigns
– Experience managing multiple projects, prioritizing, planning, and managing time
– Experience that includes strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities
– Experience crafting editorial for large brands with wide reach (100k+ distribution)
– Experience managing external agencies
– Experience in creating and executing crisis communications strategies
