Librarian for AY 2025/2026

GEMS Winchester School is seeking a passionate and organized School Librarian to manage and nurture our library. The ideal candidate will foster a love of reading, support literacy development, and provide resources for both students and teachers. This role requires a professional who is well-versed in managing library systems, recommending age-appropriate literature, and creating an engaging learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:
– Oversee daily library operations, including cataloging and maintaining library resources.
– Guide students in selecting and accessing books and digital resources.
– Organize reading programs, book fairs, and literacy events.
– Collaborate with teachers to integrate library resources into the curriculum.
– Maintain a welcoming and inclusive environment for young learners.

– Bachelor’s degree in Library Science or related field.
– Prior experience in a school library setting preferred.
– Strong communication and organizational skills.
