Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic, creative, and dedicated Kindergarten Teacher to join our passionate team. The ideal candidate will be committed to providing a stimulating and supportive learning environment where young children can thrive socially, emotionally, and academically.

Successful applicants be qualified as below:

A Bachelors Degree in the Arts/ Science Subjects, along with a certified teaching qualification such as B.Ed.

A Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in KG is mandatory along with attested: Degree, BEd and Experience Letters.

A proven track record of providing outstanding teaching and learning

Experience teaching in the UAE is an added advantage

Skills

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and developmentally appropriate lessons aligned with the KG curriculum.

  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe classroom environment conducive to learning and exploration.

  • Implement a strong phonics-based literacy program, focusing on letter sounds, digraphs, trigraphs, CVC words, sight words, and early reading skills.

  • Develop and implement activities that promote early numeracy, scientific inquiry, creativity, and gross/fine motor skills.

  • Assess students’ progress through observation, portfolios, and other age-appropriate methods.

  • Communicate effectively and regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress and classroom activities.

  • Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and school-wide initiatives.

  • Manage classroom resources and routines effectively.

  • Encourage positive social interactions and emotional development.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Education, or a related field.

  • Valid teaching certification/license for Early Years/Kindergarten.

  • Proven experience teaching Kindergarten or early primary grades.

  • Strong subject knowledge across all core KG learning areas (literacy, numeracy, science, arts, social-emotional learning).

  • In-depth understanding and practical application of phonics instruction, including explicit teaching of letter-sound correspondence, blending, segmenting, digraphs, trigraphs, and strategies for developing early reading fluency.

  • Excellent classroom management skills with a positive and nurturing approach.

  • Ability to create a stimulating and interactive learning environment.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Patience, creativity, flexibility, and a genuine passion for working with young children.

  • Proficiency in using technology for teaching and communication (e.g., interactive whiteboards, educational apps).

  • Any specific curriculum experience if relevant, e.g., Experience with Specific Curriculum like Jolly Phonics, IB PYP, Montessori is a plus.
