Job Description

  • Establish and manage relationships with government department and ministries to facilitate transactions related to work permits, residency and National ID/Emirates ID.
  • Work with senior leadership and HR to implement the company’s Emiratisation strategy and ensure compliance with government regulations and statutory requirements.
  • Partner with government entities, universities and talent networks to identify, attract and recruit qualified Emirati candidates for relevant roles.
  • Act as the company’s point of contract for Emiratisation matters, build strong relationship with public officials and represent the company at career fairs and workshops.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support the development and implementation of Emiratisation programs, such as training, onboarding and career growth initiatives for Emirati employees.
  • Monitor progress against Emiratisation targets and provide regular reports to stakeholders on key performance indicators.

Skills

  • Strong understanding of UAE labour laws and national workforce initiatives, particularly those related to Emiratisation.
  • Proven Experience in government relations, with a strong preference for experience dealing with entities like Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MOHRE) and Immigration.
  • Excellent Communication and relationship-building skills to interact with government bodies and universities
  • Ability to influence senior management and drive strategic change.
  • Experience in strategic HR, talent management or Emiratisation is highly desirable.
