Deputy Head of Primary – August 2026

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Deputy Head of Primary to join our leadership team in August 2026. The successful candidate will support the Head of Primary in driving academic excellence, enhancing teaching and learning, and fostering a positive school culture.

This position offers an excellent opportunity for a skilled middle or senior leader to make a meaningful contribution within a dynamic primary school setting.

Key Responsibilities:

•         Deputise for the Head of Primary as required. 

•         Lead curriculum development and assessment across Primary stages.

•         Support teacher development through coaching, observations, and CPD initiatives.

•         Build strong relationships with students, staff, and parents.

•         Promote safeguarding, wellbeing, and behaviour standards.

•         Contribute to strategic planning and school improvement priorities.

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or Bachelor of Arts in English and PGCE or equivalent.

• Minimum 3 years of teaching experience, with leadership experience preferred.

• Proven ability to lead teams and drive improvement.
