Our Deals practice helps organisations navigate complex transactions, from mergers and acquisitions to restructuring and strategic investments. We deliver insights and solutions that enable clients to create, protect, and realise value throughout the deal lifecycle.
The Delivering Deal Value (DDV) team is part of Deals Strategy & Operations. We focus on operational integration and value creation across the transaction lifecycle, including pre-deal due diligence, synergy assessment, carve-outs, integration planning, and post-deal performance improvement. Our goal is to help clients unlock maximum value from their transactions.
As a Deals Manager in Delivering Deal Value team, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Support the preparation of operational due diligence reports and integration assessments
- Assist clients with carve-out planning, Day One readiness, and post-merger integration activities
- Contribute to technology PMO support for deals, focusing on execution planning, risk management, and governance
- Identify potential synergies, risks, and integration issues and evaluate their impact on deal timelines and functional readiness
- Develop structured, analytical, and compelling client deliverables and reports
- Support business development efforts including proposals, capability building, and client presentations
- Research and analyse market and company-level technology insights to inform recommendations
- Collaborate closely with team members to ensure timely and quality outcomes
- 5+ years of experience in M&A, consulting, or advisory roles within a large organisation
- Proven experience in operational or commercial due diligence; exposure to carve-outs and integrations is a plus
- Familiarity with technology PMO or implementation within deal or transformation environments
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to extract insights and understand business drivers
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and collaboration tools such as Office 365
- Self-starter with ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
- Familiarity with digital and technology-enabled solutions to enhance delivery
- Your flexibility to travel 40%–60% of the time. This means we may require you to work away from your base office location on a regular basis and frequent overnight stays may be required.
