Job Description & Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Creative Content Writer to join our dynamic team. This individual will play a crucial role in working alongside our Content Editor in the research, drafting, development, and review of thought leadership content, blogs, op-eds, and video scripts. The successful candidate will be instrumental in enhancing our brand presence and engaging our audience with compelling and insightful content.
Primary duties and responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with the Content Editor, marketing and technical teams to produce high-quality content that aligns with PwC’s brand voice and objectives.
- Conduct thorough research on business trends and industry-related topics to develop original and thought provoking content.
- Draft and develop thought leadership articles, blogs, op-eds, and video scripts that engage target audiences and promote our brand narrative.
- Review and edit content for clarity, accuracy, and consistency.
- Stay up-to-date with current industry trends and news to ensure content is relevant and impactful.
- Work on multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to tight deadlines while maintaining high standards of quality.
- Assist in content strategy development and execution to enhance brand visibility and engagement including using PwC survey data to develop findings, conclusions and key recommendations for thought leadership reports.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, or a related field.
- Proven experience (minimum 7 years) in an editorial role, with a strong portfolio of published articles, including long-form features, strategic reports and Op-Eds.
- Exceptional writing and editing skills, with the ability to produce clear, concise, and engaging content.
- Excellent research skills and a knack for storytelling.
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and SEO principles.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- A passion for staying up-to-date with industry trends and innovations.
