As a Managed Services (MS) Cloud Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the cloud infrastructure and architecture that supports our MS business applications and services. You will play a crucial role in inputting into the MS cloud strategy and managing cloud environments while ensuring availability, scalability, and security.

As a Managed Services (MS) Cloud Senior Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the cloud infrastructure and architecture that supports our MS business applications and services. You will play a crucial role in inputting into the MS cloud strategy and managing cloud environments while ensuring availability, scalability, and security.

 

Roles and Responsibilities:

Serve as the primary point of contact for MS Engagements regarding all cloud-related matters.

  • Understand clients’ business needs and requirements to tailor MS cloud solutions accordingly for the key hyperscale’s within the region.

  • Define MS Cloud frameworks, playbooks, processes, estimators, etc required to build and grow the MS Cloud practice

  • Define appropriate MS cloud strategies aligned with clients’ business objectives and growth plans.

  • Define cloud deployment models (public, private, hybrid) and select appropriate cloud services (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) for each client.

  • Assess clients’ existing infrastructure and applications to recommend cloud migration or optimization strategies.

  • Continuously review and refine MS cloud strategies based on industry trends and technological advancements.

  • Support in the definition of backup and disaster recovery plans to ensure data protection and business continuity.

  • Provide Cloud security assessments and audits to identify and mitigate potential risks in migrations and operations.

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in cloud technologies.

Expected Skills:

  • Proven experience in managing cloud environments, preferably in a managed services or consulting role.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (Oracle, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their respective services.

  • Ability to analyze and evaluate cloud platform solutions based on client requirements.

  • Hands-on experience with cloud migration, architecture design, and implementation.

  • Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, or Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect are a plus.

  • Strong understanding of technology trends and their application in business contexts

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.

  • Required Language Skills:

Proficient in written and spoken English. Arabic is a plus

  • Minimum Education and Specific Qualification:

Bachelor’s Degree: A degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field

Certifications by professional technology institutes is desirable.

Given the rapid evolution of technology, ongoing professional development and staying current with industry trends and best practices are essential. Participation in workshops, seminars, and obtaining certifications relevant to emerging technologies can enhance expertise and credibility in the field.
