Job Description
We are looking for a skilled and motivated AV Technician to support the setup, operation, and maintenance of audio-visual equipment across our school. The successful candidate will ensure that all AV resources are available, functional, and meet the highest standards to support teaching, learning, and events.
Key Responsibilities:

Set up, operate, and troubleshoot AV equipment, including projectors, microphones, sound systems, lighting, and video conferencing tools.

Provide on-site technical support for school events, assemblies, meetings, and productions.

Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and minor repairs of AV equipment.

Assist in planning and implementing new AV installations and upgrades.

Train staff and students in the proper use of AV equipment as needed.

Maintain an inventory of AV equipment and supplies.
Skills
Qualifications & Experience:
-
Proven experience as an AV Technician or in a similar technical support role.

Strong understanding of AV systems, including sound, lighting, and video technologies.

Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Good organizational and communication skills.

Ability to work flexibly, including occasional evenings and weekends for school events.

Certification or formal training in AV technology is an advantage.
