Assistant Principal

We are looking to appoint an outstanding, innovative, Assistant Principal to join the team and play a key role on the Executive Leadership Team in driving forward the Primary phase of the school with key whole school responsibilities.

The AP of Primary will inspire colleagues to inspire students. He or she will be a compassionate, values-based leader and will maintain an inclusive culture for staff and for students. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the school’s vision and mission as well as all policies, academic standards and pastoral support, alongside shaping & implementing the educational strategy for the school.

The Assistant Principal of Primary will personally lead all aspects of the Primary School and will work alongside the Principal, Vice Principal and AP of Secondary to lead the whole school. All aspects of school life lie within the direct or indirect responsibility of the AP of Primary. Key areas are outlined as follows:

Leading Teaching and Learning

Ensuring high quality care and support for students in the Primary School.

Promoting, adapting and implementing a cohesive and inclusive world class curriculum

Tracking Data, leading on Assessment and reporting

Leading Professional Learning and Development

Ensuring outstanding academic standards in the Primary School in relation to the school’s own desire for all students to be high performers as well as a commitment to the UAE National Agenda targets.

Securing Accountability

Marketing and Communication

Community Engagement and Parental Involvement

Enhancing the wider co-curricular life of the primary phase.
