Job Summary

The role is responsible for supporting the CRM in managing and mitigating credit risk while ensuring the health and performance of the bank’s Mortgage and Wealth Management portfolios. This role involves developing and implementing risk management strategies, monitoring portfolio performance, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The incumbent will work closely with the Business team and Credit Underwriters to optimize risk-return balance and support sustainable portfolio growth.

Key Responsibilities

•    Support Secured CRM team in implementation of the process and policies relevant to credit risk assessment for Mortgage and Wealth Management products.
•    Support the team in monitoring and tracking portfolio health, key risk indicators (KRIs), and concentration risks across different customer segments.
•    Identify early warning signals for potential delinquencies or credit deterioration and recommend proactive measures.
•    Work with collection and recovery teams to optimize non-performing loan (NPL) management strategies.
•    To ensure policy decisions help create the right target portfolio, in line with risk appetite and risk decision framework, and meet group and regulatory requirements. 
•    Collaborate with the Business team and Credit Underwriters to ensure credit risk policies support business growth without compromising risk appetite.
•    Ensure adherence to local and international banking regulations related to mortgage and wealth management products.
•    To translate the policies into the right underwriting and portfolio management standards and ensure that the end-to-end customer lifecycle performance (from underwriting through to collections and recoveries) is in line with expectations.  To take corrective actions if not.
•    Value-add to the business unit by identifying new , thematic and developing risks, adhoc reviews ( Accountability reviews, lessons learnt reviews, process/control reviews) at the unit level, or, actively participating in reviews driven by Group /  Country / Function based on thematic issues using forward looking approach.

Skills and Experience

•    Strong Verbal and writing Communication skills 
•    Good logical and number crunching skills to review and evaluate MIS packs and prepare summaries for higher management.
