Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, manage, and monitor progress within the Key Stage, ensuring high expectations and standards across all aspects of school life.
• Articulate and implement a vision for the Key Stage aligned with the school’s ethos.
• Oversee curriculum planning, assessment, and behaviour management, working closely with teaching staff, Heads of Subject, and other leaders.
• Foster a positive learning environment, promoting student development, wellbeing, and high engagement in school activities.
• Drive the implementation of the High Performance Learning framework, ensuring staff and students are motivated and supported to achieve excellence.
• Manage resources effectively, ensuring efficient use of staff time and budget allocation.
• Provide leadership and professional development for staff, driving continuous improvement and fostering a collaborative culture.

Key Skills & Experience:

• Proven leadership and management experience in a school setting, ideally within a Key Stage or similar leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of curriculum planning, student progress tracking, and behaviour management.
• Commitment to promoting the wellbeing and academic success of students.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage staff, students, parents, and external partners.
• Ability to lead and inspire teams to achieve shared goals and drive improvement.
