About the Role
We are seeking an innovative, enthusiastic, and highly motivated Arabic EYFS Teacher to join our early childhood department. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in delivering an outstanding, holistic, and play-based learning environment that inspires curiosity, confidence, and foundational skills in young learners.
Key Responsibilities
- Curriculum Planning & Delivery: Design and implement high-quality, play-based learning experiences following the UK Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework across the 7 key areas of learning.
- Phonics & Early Literacy: Deliver structured early literacy, phonics, and numeracy programs that build strong foundational cognitive and communication skills.
- Child-Centred Environment: Create a safe, stimulating, and enabling classroom and outdoor environment that nurtures intellectual curiosity, social-emotional development, and physical well-being.
- Assessment & Observation: Conduct continuous formative observations (EYFS Profile tracking) to personalise learning pathways and monitor each child’s developmental milestones.
- Inclusion & Wellbeing: Foster an inclusive, supportive atmosphere catering to Students of Determination and English as an Additional Language (EAL) learners.
- Parent Partnership: Establish collaborative relationships with parents through regular updates, learning journals, and workshops to ensure a seamless home-school connection.
- Community & School Life: Contribute actively to phase meetings, continuous professional development (CPD), continuous school improvement plans, and school events.
Skills Description
Essential Requirements
- Education: Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) in Early Childhood or Bachelors in Arabic Language
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of direct teaching experience within the EYFS framework (Nursery, Reception, or FS1/FS2).
- Pedagogical Knowledge: Deep understanding of child development, play-based learning, early phonics programs (e.g., Read Write Inc. or Jolly Phonics), and positive behaviour management.
- Interpersonal Skills: Outstanding communication, empathy, and ability to build strong relationships with young children, parents, and colleagues.
Desirable Attributes
- Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or Educational Leadership.
- Experience in an accredited British International School in the UAE or UK
