Stage 2 Art Teacher

About the Role

We are looking for a creative, enthusiastic, and dedicated Art Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging art lessons, encouraging students’ creativity, and helping them develop their artistic skills and confidence.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate art lessons.
• Teach students various art techniques, including drawing, painting, sketching, crafts, and other creative activities.
• Encourage creativity, self-expression, and appreciation of art.
• Prepare classroom materials, art supplies, and learning resources.
• Assess students’ progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Organize and support art exhibitions, displays, competitions, and school events.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and inspiring art classroom.
• Collaborate with other teachers and contribute to school activities.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and participation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or relevant qualification in Fine Arts, Art Education, or a related field.
• Previous experience teaching Art, preferably in a school or educational setting.
• Strong knowledge of different art techniques and mediums.
• Good classroom management and communication skills.
• Creative, patient, and enthusiastic approach to teaching.
• Ability to work effectively with students of different ages and abilities.
• Candidates must be currently based locally and available to join on short notice.
