Description
Content Specialist is responsible for creating, curating, and managing content across various platforms and mediums. This role ensures that content is accurate, engaging, and aligned with the organization’s goals and brand voice.

• Develop and maintain a content strategy that supports organizational objectives
• Create high-quality, engaging content for various channels (e.g., websites, newsletters)
• Edit and proofread content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency
• Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to gather information and validate content
• Design and develop instructional materials, including e-learning modules, job aids, and training manuals
• Apply adult learning theories and instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, SAM) to create engaging learning experiences
Basic Qualifications
– Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, SharePoint, and PowerPoint)
– Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS), or experience as a trainer and ability to manage a classroom of learners
– Knowledge of at least one programming language such as Java, C#, JavaScript, Python, Ruby or Perl
– Experience working with a variety of design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
– • Strong understanding of adult learning principles, learning theories (e.g., ADDIE, SAM), & instructional design models.
Preferred Qualifications
– Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, or experience in learning design, learning science, instructional design, educational psychology, or a similar field
– Knowledge of a front-end language (Javascript, CSS, HTML, etc.)
– Experience in visual design expertise demonstrated through mockups and style guides
– Knowledge of Adobe design programs including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign
– Knowledge of Machine Learning and LLM fundamentals, including transformer architecture, training/inference lifecycles, and optimization techniques
– Knowledge of and proficiency in a variety of design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Fireworks, and InDesign
