Job Description
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the Early Years curriculum.
- Implement play-based, inquiry-based, and child-centered learning strategies.
- Foster early literacy, numeracy, and communication skills.
- Differentiate instruction to meet individual learning needs.
- Maintain a stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration and creativity.
- Support children’s social, emotional, and behavioral development.
- Promote positive behavior management strategies.
- Ensure safeguarding and child protection policies are strictly followed.
- Monitor students’ progress and developmental milestones.
- Observe, assess, and document student progress through formative and summative assessments.
- Maintain accurate student records and portfolios.
- Prepare progress reports and conduct parent-teacher meetings.
- Identify and support children with additional learning needs.
- Create a safe, organized, and inclusive classroom environment.
- Manage classroom resources effectively.
- Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development activities.
- Collaborate with teaching assistants and support staff.
Skills
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
- Teaching certification – B.Ed (Mandatory)
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in Early Years / Foundation Stage.
- Strong understanding of child development principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create a warm, caring, and engaging classroom environment.
