Job Description
- Plan, prepare, and deliver age-appropriate lessons aligned with the school curriculum.
- Foster a positive classroom culture focused on student engagement, motivation, and active learning.
- Assess and monitor student progress through formative and summative evaluations.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, assessments, and academic performance.
- Develop and implement creative teaching strategies and activities to cater to diverse learning needs.
- Establish clear classroom rules and expectations for behavior and routines.
- Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student development and well-being.
- Collaborate with other teachers and support staff to ensure a holistic approach to student growth.
- Assist in the planning and organizing of school events and functions (eg inter-house competitions, concerts, school plays, prize days etc).
- Ensure the safety and well-being of students at all times.
- Ensure GEMS policies, procedures, and codes of conduct are followed at all times.

- Updated with innovation and technology requirements.
Qualification:
- A minimum of bachelor’s degree in Art.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Proven teaching experience of minimum 3 years
