Line of Service Overview 

Our Deals practice helps organizations navigate complex transactions, from mergers and acquisitions to restructuring and strategic investments. We deliver insights and solutions that enable clients to create, protect, and realize value throughout the deal lifecycle. 

Business Unit Overview 

Delivering Deal Value (DDV) focuses on helping investors and corporates unlock value through post-merger integration, carve-outs, and operational transformation. We work with private equity firms, banks, and major corporations to deliver sustained outcomes across sectors, with a strong emphasis on Financial Services, including banking, digital banking, and fintech. 

 

How You’ll Contribute 

As a Senior Manager in the DDV team, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: 

  • Leading large-scale integrations and carve-outs, ensuring smooth transitions and synergy capture 

  • Driving operational due diligence and value creation programs across diverse sectors 

  • Acting as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders, managing relationships and delivering high-quality outcomes 

  • Overseeing multiple complex engagements, managing timelines, budgets, and risk 

  • Designing and implementing operational readiness plans for clients, including government entities 

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams across Deals and the PwC network to identify opportunities and contribute to proposals 

  • Leading business development initiatives and supporting go-to-market strategies 

  • Coaching and mentoring managers and junior team members to build capability and foster growth 

  • Applying digital tools and analytics to enhance deal insights and efficiency 

  • Promoting an inclusive and collaborative team culture 

 

What You’ll Bring 

  • 8–10 years of experience in consulting or professional services, with a focus on transactions and integrations 

  • Proven track record in post-merger integrations, carve-outs, and operational due diligence 

  • Strong understanding of commercial and operational levers (P&L, balance sheet, working capital) 

  • Experience delivering transaction-related services such as operational turnarounds and synergy programs 

  • Advanced analytical and technical skills, including Excel modelling and financial/operational analysis 

  • Proficiency in consulting tools (PowerPoint, Excel) and a proactive, self-starter mindset 

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to manage clients and teams effectively 

  • Ability to manage projects end-to-end, balancing multiple priorities under tight deadlines 

  • Arabic language skills would be an asset 

  • Your flexibility to travel 40–60% of the time. This means we may require you to work away from your base office location on a regular basis and frequent overnight stays may be required. Where possible, we will take your preferences into account and strike a balance between meeting your career development/personal needs and those of the business and our clients
