How You’ll Contribute 

As a Manager – Tax Trainer, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: 

  • Designing and delivering high-quality professional training courses in taxation, including Corporate Tax, VAT, Transfer Pricing, and International Tax. 

  • Developing curricula, training materials, assessment tools, and learning resources aligned with local and international tax standards, as well as PwC methodology. 

  • Conducting training needs analyses to identify learner gaps and tailoring learning programmes accordingly. 

  • Coaching, mentoring, and supporting participants in their technical development and, where applicable, exam preparation. 

  • Collaborating with PwC subject matter experts and external partners to ensure content reflects evolving GCC and global tax developments. 

  • Contributing to business development, including drafting proposals, meeting clients, and supporting thought leadership creation. 

  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of GCC tax regulations—particularly UAE Corporate Tax and VAT—to ensure technical accuracy in all materials. 

  • Delivering training in both Arabic and English to diverse audiences across the region.

     

    What You’ll Bring   

    • Years of experience :  

    • Minimum 7+ years of experience in taxation, with at least 2 years in training, coaching, lecturing, or capability building. 

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Law, or a related field. 

    • Professional qualification required (e.g., ATT, CTA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent). 

    • Additional or reciprocal qualifications are a plus. 

    Technical Skills : 

    • Strong technical expertise in Corporate Tax, VAT, Transfer Pricing, and International Taxation. 

    • Knowledge of GCC tax frameworks, particularly UAE Corporate Tax and VAT. 

    • Ability to translate complex tax concepts into clear, engaging learning experiences. 

    • Experience designing modern learning materials and assessments. 

     Soft Skills :  

    • Strong presentation, facilitation, and communication capabilities. 

    • Excellent stakeholder management and interpersonal skills. 

    • Ability to plan, organize, and manage time effectively. 

    • Passion for learning, teaching, and developing others. 

     Language Skills: 

    • Fluent in Arabic and English (spoken and written). 

    • Travel Requirements: Your flexibility to travel 30% of the time. This means we may require you to work away from your base office location on a regular basis and frequent overnight stays may be required. Where possible, we will take your preferences into account and strike a balance between meeting your career development/personal needs and those of the business and our clients.
