Job Description

Purpose

The Head of Arabic Communications drives Arabic-language PR and content strategy for GEMS Education, ensuring messages resonate culturally while aligning with group brand positioning. The role supports schools by providing Arabic campaigns, media engagement, and stakeholder communication.

Key Accountabilities

  • Develop Arabic PR and media relations strategy across corporate and school levels.
  • Provide Arabic content for school campaigns, press releases, and crisis communications.
  • Build strong relationships with Arabic-language media and influencers.
  • Collaborate with school leaders and admissions on parent communications.
  • Ensure consistency and cultural relevance across Arabic messaging.

Skills

Expected Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field.
  • 12–15 years in Arabic PR, communications, or content.
  • Established media network in UAE and MENASA.
  • Native-level Arabic fluency with strong writing/editing skills.
  • Skilled at stakeholder and media engagement.
