Teaching Assistant-English

GEMS FirstPoint School is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic English Teaching Assistant to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual passionate about supporting students in achieving excellence in English while contributing to a collaborative and innovative learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support teachers in planning and delivering engaging English lessons.

• Assist students with their learning, providing individual and small-group support where needed.

• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes curiosity, creativity, and confidence.

• Support with administrative and classroom duties to ensure smooth lesson delivery.

• Work closely with the English Department and wider school community to enhance student progress

• Have strong communication skills in English (spoken and written).

• Be passionate about working with young people and supporting their learning journey.

• Possess prior experience working in a school environment (preferred but not essential).

• Demonstrate flexibility, teamwork, and a proactive approach.

• Show commitment to the GEMS Core Values and to nurturing students’ academic and personal growth

Bachelors of Education or Equivalent in English
