Overview Of The Role:

• The Technician is responsible for carrying out dealership service on customer vehicles according to company standards. The primary purpose of the role is to ensure high-quality, efficient, and productive service, thereby contributing to the workshop’s revenue generation. The technician must also maintain a focus on customer satisfaction and adhere to performance indicators such as monthly booked hours reports. This role is critical within a customer-focused and performance-oriented environment, requiring a self-driven individual who is motivated to excel.

What You Will Do:

General

• Perform assigned repairs on customer vehicles in standard time or less, maintaining optimum quality.
• Identify and report potential future failures with additional job reports, including correct part numbers.
• Ensure the use of relevant check sheets and log sheets during diagnosing and repairs, adhering to standard procedures.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment, following the standard job flow procedures.
• Perform required repairs per manufacturer standards, ensuring that repairs are fixed correctly the first time (FRFT).
• Contribute to workshop revenue through increased productivity and technical efficiency.

Required Skills To Be Successful:

• Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge.
• Proficiency with workshop tools and ability to utilize repair manuals.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to perform under pressure and maintain high standards of customer service.

What Qualifies You For The Role:

• Automobile related diploma or certificate.
• At least 3 years of relevant automotive experience.
• Strong mechanical and basic electrical knowledge.
• Familiarity with workshop equipment and tools. Ability to read and analyze schematic drawings and reference service manuals.
• Basic PC skills, with good communication abilities (written and verbal).
• Proven ability to provide established standards of customer service.
