DESCRIPTION

As a Territory Manager in the SMB segment, you will be responsible for driving customer digital transformation through effective engagement with C-level executives, Line of Business leaders, IT leaders, architects, and developers. You will be a brand custodian working to support our customers, partners and end-users as they work with AWS, and utilise our cloud technology to innovate and improve their business outcomes.

ABOUT THIS ROLE
In this role will Think Big to develop the SMB segment, and Learn and Be Curious about the entire portfolio of AWS products and services across strategic accounts. As a trusted advisor, you will listen to our customers and help solve complex business transformation and growth challenges so they can focus on delivering optimal business results. Your role will include customer engagement and creating a pipeline of strategic accounts while managing existing customers. As builders, we are here to build long-term relationships with our customers. With a strong ‘Bias for Action’, you will improve user experiences while engaging with external and internal stakeholders demonstrating Customer Obsession.

– Support SMB customers within a defined territory, having single threaded ownership of the territory
– Drive adoption of new AWS services, always working backwards from the customer problem
– Develop relationships with stakeholders across the entire customer organization, including C-suite engagement.
– Work with the AWS partner community to ensure strong partner alignment to support your customers
– Work with the supporting functions in AWS, including specialist sales and technical teams, to support customer requirements

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

– 5 years (minimum) of high tech business development experience
– Track record of meeting and exceeding business established goals
– Professional, ambitious and results oriented mind set
– Excellent communication and presentation skills and sales experience with virtualization/infrastructure solutions

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

– Previous experience in high technology or B2B space
– Sales experience with cloud solutions.
– AWS Certification (Cloud Practitioner, Solutions Architect Associate, etc)
