DESCRIPTION

Are you excited about designing the next generation of Amazon FC’s in the region? Do you want to contribute to the ongoing expansion and optimization of Amazon’s ultra-fast fulfillment network? Amazon is searching for a skilled candidate with a strong execution record and proven experience in warehouse layout design, develop optimized, high-efficiency Site designs. The layout designer will be responsible for scoping and creating layout blueprints, collaborating with 3PL partners and internal stakeholders to ensure layouts are aligned with business needs while optimizing space utilization and operational efficiency. Strong collaboration, analytical thinking, and proficiency in CAD tools are essential to success in this role.

Key job responsibilities
1. Expert in AutoCAD, REVIT or any other CAD program to design layouts
2. Work with key stakeholders on the criteria for design and expansion
3. Review and approve layout plans, ensuring alignment with business needs, space utilization targets, and net CBM optimization.
4. Review existing designs to identify value engineering opportunities and optimization
5. align cross-functional teams on design standards, best practices, and implementation guidelines for consistent layout execution.
6. Ability to easily communicate, present and write technical documents/drawings
7. Ability to travel 25% of the time

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent industrial and operations background
2. Expert in AutoCAD, REVIT or any other CAD program
3. Dealing with ambiguity, data analysis and analytical skills
4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

1. Previous experience in designing darkstores or grocery shops
1. Past experience related to warehouse optimization
