PE Teacher

GEMS World Academy is seeking a dynamic and energetic Physical Education Teacher to join our School team. The ideal candidate is passionate about health, fitness, and sports, and is committed to promoting physical wellbeing and teamwork through high-quality PE instruction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and inclusive PE lessons to students in the  School, aligned with international curriculum standards (IB PYP/MYP/DP experience preferred).

• Promote lifelong fitness habits, teamwork, leadership, and sportsmanship among students.

• Plan and lead a wide range of physical activities, including individual and team sports, fitness training, and wellness education.

• Contribute to the school’s extracurricular sports programs, competitions, and events.

• Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback for development.

• Collaborate with colleagues to promote cross-curricular links and holistic student development.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, or a related field.

• A recognized teaching qualification. / Valid Teaching license.

• Minimum 2–3 years of PE teaching experience at the all level.

• Experience with IB PYP/MYP and/or DP Physical and Health Education is highly desirable.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Enthusiasm for working with students of diverse backgrounds and abilities.
