Job Description
Due to the continued success of our new school GEMS Founders School Dubai, we are looking to recruit Inclusion Teachers for August 2025.
This is a fantastic opportunity for more experienced teachers to take the next step in their career with a global leading company and within a world-class International School located in the heart of Dubai.
We are British Schools Overseas (BSO) accredited gaining Outstanding judgements in all standards, allowing us to offer the NQT, QTS and iPGCE programmes to our teachers through the TES Institute. Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing timely intervention and support as needed.
- Collaborate with other department heads and school leadership to promote a cohesive educational experience.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
Skills
Successful candidates will need to:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Special Education, Education, or a related field.
2. Valid teaching certification or licensure in special education or a relevant area.
3. Demonstrated knowledge of inclusive education practices, special education laws, and regulations.
4. Experience working with students with disabilities or learning differences, preferably in an inclusive classroom setting.
5. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with students, parents, teachers, and other stakeholders.
6. Ability to adapt instructional strategies and materials to meet the diverse needs of students.
7. Knowledge and proficiency in utilizing assistive technology and specialized instructional tools.
8. Patience, empathy, and a genuine commitment to advocating for the rights and needs of students with disabilities or learning differences.
9. Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks, documents, and deadlines related to IEPs and student progress monitoring.
10. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
