Job Description
GEMS Education is seeking passionate and experienced Inclusion Teachers to join our outstanding schools across Dubai in August 2025. Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing targeted intervention and support
- Develop and adapt instructional strategies to meet diverse student needs
- Collaborate with school leadership, parents, and staff to promote an inclusive learning environment
- Implement and support Individualised Education Plans (IEPs)
- Utilise assistive technology and other specialised tools to enhance learning

Skills
Educational Requirements:
- A teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS) with a specialisation in Special Educational Needs (SEN) is essential
- A Level 5 or 6 qualification in SEN or vocational education is an advantage
- Bachelor’s degree in Special Education, Education, or a related field
- Valid teaching certification or licensure in special education
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Strong knowledge of inclusive education practices, special education laws, and regulations
- Experience working with students with disabilities or learning differences, preferably in an inclusive classroom
- Interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with students, parents, and staff
- Adaptability in instructional strategies and materials to support diverse learning needs
- Proficiency in using assistive technology and specialised instructional tools
- Patience, empathy, and a commitment to advocating for students with disabilities
