Head of English – September 2025

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Secondary Head of English to join our team for the academic year 2025-2026.

As Head of English, you will:

• Lead and manage a team of dedicated English teachers.
• Develop and implement an engaging, ambitious, and inclusive English curriculum.
• Drive high standards of teaching, learning, and student achievement.
• Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and professional development within the department.
• Ensure effective use of resources and lead the development of English facilities.
• Work closely with senior leadership to contribute to whole-school initiatives and priorities.

• An experienced and qualified English teacher with a strong track record of success.
• Passionate about English education and able to inspire students of all abilities.
• A proven leader with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
• Skilled in curriculum development and innovative teaching methods.
• Experienced with IGCSE and A Level exam boards.
• Committed to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment.

• Innovative in their approach to teaching and learning.
