Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Secondary Head of English to join our team for the academic year 2025-2026.

As Head of English, you will:

  • Lead and manage a team of dedicated English teachers.
  • Develop and implement an engaging, ambitious, and inclusive English curriculum.
  • Drive high standards of teaching, learning, and student achievement.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and professional development within the department.
  • Ensure effective use of resources and lead the development of English facilities.
  • Work closely with senior leadership to contribute to whole-school initiatives and priorities.
